  • What is The Pickle Games?

The Pickle Games is a unique, one-of-a-kind, festival targeting the celebration of Pickleball.

  • What makes The Pickle Games a Festival?

Unlike other tournaments, we want to bring the community together to enjoy a weekend of Food, Music, Beach side attractions and of course Pickleball!

  • When and where will The Pickle Games take place?

The Pickle Games will be held on January 13th and 14th, 2024 at the Miami Marine Stadium located at 3501 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami, FL 33149.

  • What is the cost to compete and attend?

The early bird cost to compete is $400/team. Best to register early before prices increase to $500 a team. General admission will become available at a later date.

  • Parking details

This information will be provided at a later date.

  • VIP Experience

VIP experience will be available at an additional cost. VIP’s will have access to exclusive areas, bars, and the beach club.

  • How do I become a sponsor?

We are looking for partners who are excited to be a part of The Pickle Games. If you would like to become a sponsor please reach out at info@thepicklegames.com

Tournament

  • Which events are offered?

The game play will consist of 3 categories: Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles. Each gender grouping will be split into 2 age brackets, 50+ and Under 50. Within each age and gender combination we will have 4 skill levels Open/under 3, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+.

  • What is the format of the tournament?

The tournament will be structured as round robin for seeding and bracketed play for placement. This structure is intended to provide each team with 10 games over 2 days.

  • Can you register as an individual?

Unfortunately, we will not be assisting in pairing single players to form teams. We encourage you to leverage social media and the rapidly growing pickleball community to find a partner near you.

  • How do you register for multiple events?

To register for multiple events you should follow the same process as for 1 event. Please click Register Now on our home page and complete the required fields.

  • How do I register large groups to compete?

We welcome large groups/ clubs! Please contact us at info@thepicklegames.com

  • Who is eligible to play in The Pickle Games?

Any Pickler 16 yrs or older is welcome to play at any skill level. If you aren’t sure you want to play, then come out and enjoy the Festival!

  • What day will I play?

While the final schedule will not be determined until registration closes, we are committed to providing participants with 2 days of play. Format will be subject to change based on the number of registered teams in each division.

  • How many games am I guaranteed?

The current plan is to ensure 5 games per team, per day. While this is our aspiration, our commitment is to two full days of Pickleball, the number of games will be determined by court availability, the number of registrants and weather the days of the event.

  • How do I determine my rating level?

If you have never played a tournament there is no better time to start. Most first-time tournament players will be in the Open division. If you play often and think you may be higher ranked than feel free to reference the USA Pickleball Player skill rating definition page below.   • How do I know what age division my team should register for?

The team will be registered based on the age of the youngest player on the team.

  • How many teams will be in each gender/age/skill level?

At this time we will not be restricting registrations at the division level. We reserve the right to cap registrations based on interest as the big day approaches.

  • What if not enough teams register for a given gender/age/skill level?

We want to ensure a day full of fun and competition. If a division has fewer than desired registrants we reserve the right to adjust and combine groups in order to optimize the experience for everyone.

  • What if it rains?

While January tends to be beautiful in Miami, we cannot control the weather. We will remain agile to ensure that we can maximize play over the 2 days. The Pickle Games will take place on Holiday weekend. While we plan to complete festival activities on Saturday and Sunday, we suggest to plan on being available on Monday January 15th in the event that tournament play needs to be rescheduled.

  • Will the tournament be Sanctioned?

No, this will not be a Sanctioned USAPA tournament.

Athlete Village

  • What is the athlete village and who has access to it?

All Athletes who compete will have access to the Athlete Village. This is a space where those competing will be able to rest, get some shade, and have access to a premium athlete amenities like physical therapy, massages, refreshments and more!

  • How do I become a vendor in the athlete village?

Please reach out to info@thepicklegames.com and we can work together to see how you can be a part of the Athlete Village.

Vendor Village

  • What is the vendor village and who has access to it?

The vender village is a grouping of vendor spaces where sponsors and vendors can interact with our athletes and guests. Vendors will be able to sell to and interact with customers from their own dedicated tent space. We are looking for vendors in all categories so please reach out so we can make you a part of The Pickle Games. Everyone will have access to these areas.

  • How do I become a vendor in the vendor village?
